New cousin!

Leah has a new cousin Chloe!

Aunt Angie

Leah has had a great time with Angie the last couple of days. She even went to her first movie in the theater! We saw Babies. Leah loved it and watched the whole thing. Today she got a professional massage from Angie too! Much better than the ones mom gives I am sure.

Lagoon

First Lagoon day of many.

YUM.

We have an orange baby! Carrots are the best! Leah ate her first full jar of food in one sitting today. Carrots are the winner so far for favorite food.

Playdate with Miles

Miles and Leah both had a great time yesterday sharing toys and enjoying each others company. I hope it lasts! Leah especially loved Miles. She could not take her eyes off him for a while. He was more interested in the world around him and trying to accumulate as many toys as possible. Really fun to watch.

Outdoor play

Leah enjoyed a small amount of time outside today. She is still not super happy hanging out while I work in the yard. I am lucky to get 20 min or so. I really hope this changes soon!

Spell check

Leah is getting some mad skills at the computer. Spell check still has no suggestions though.

Leah does a great job at posing for a picture these days. Grandma and Grandpa, not so good. They just cant seem to take their eyes off the baby. I Had about 10 shots like these. HA! We all had a great time today walking and visiting.

Today David and our friend Doug took the destruction to a whole new level. Lily brought her tutu!

Wedding

This was a bit tricky. The wedding started after Leah's bedtime. She crashed it with her screaming. This made for a classic family photo with a screaming baby while everyone else is trying to smile. Luckily she took a power nap during dinner otherwise she would have been on the boob the whole time!

It was a VERY beautiful setting. The photo of the lake was the view from the ceremony, WOW! Yip Yip Nicole and Matt!!!!

Razz

We tried and tried to get her to show off and razz in Seattle, but nope. Now that we are home, it's non-stop!

Mothers Day

Best first Mothers Day ever! We had a great time at the Seattle Arboretum. Everything was in bloom!

Carmel corn?

Yup, she likes it. Yummy sugar.

Leave it to Grandma to get her hooked on sugar at 5 months.

Another favorite, water chestnuts with Mongolian sauce. I think those are the top two pediatrician recommended first foods right?

The Aunts

Best seat on the plane.

Leah continues to do great on plane rides! Who wouldn't with this seat. She got 2 hours of constant attention from mom AND dad at the same time and even let out her first real long laugh. It was hard to hear it well with all the plane noise, bummer. But the good news is she is laughing more and more. Dad may even be the new bath giver now since it is her super happy, giggly time. Yippee!!!!

Happy Day

Leah is having a VERY happy day today.

This is not the norm lately, note the very swollen gums.
