Squeak.

Tonight Leah insisted that she wear her squeak shoes while "pushing". She takes twice as many steps as needed with her "sooz" on. Hours of squeaking fun.

Leah created her first masterpiece with some crayons from Santa.

Today was Leah's first attempt at putting two words together!

HAT.

I am sure you are all getting a bit tired of all the videos! Sorry for that! But this was such a fun afternoon. Leah can say hat. It was really cute when she figured out she could say it correctly, she would not stop saying it for an hour or so. Just crawling around the house hat, hat, hat. I think it's so exciting for her because it's one of only two words she can say correctly. Hat and Dad. And after trying all day every day to talk, she was soooo happy to have another word she could REALLY say.

13 Months

Leah continues to really try and talk more and more these days. When you are talking to her she studies your mouth and tries to repeat the word. It is very interesting to watch! Her favorite things right now are:

The "A" and the "H"- These are foam letters for the tub. These two particular letters bring hours of entertainment. She will crawl around the house with them and "talk" to them while spinning in circles. Or sit in the tub and splash with her legs while holding them in her hands.

Wooden circles and rectangles- same thing, Leah will get one in each hand and spin and sing or spin and talk to them. Usually the blue and red ones.

Baby- of course.

Dancing.

Playing monsters with dad- they growl and chase each other around the house.

Animals, all animals, even rats!

And people. She has really enjoyed all her time with family and friends the last few weeks.
