The 9 month photo shoot was tough! Leah has a very hard time sitting still. If she sees the camera, she comes right for it, and is getting FAST at her army crawl!

Check-up.
We had Leah's 9 month check-up today. It was a bit ahead of schedule( a week or so) but much needed. We wanted our pediatricians opinion on the posterior tongue-tie diagnosis, and help with the SCREAMING!!!! It has been SO bad again the last few nights. I really thought her poor little body was going to blow up.
Well, we have some new reflux meds to try, and tomorrow we will have her tongue-tie clipped( I am crying just thinking about it). If after a week or so the problem is not substantially better, we will try putting her on an elimination aid. The doc if very confident that the problem lies somewhere between her mouth and butt, so now it is just a process of elimination(ha).
The good news is, even with all her struggles to eat, digest, and poop, Leah continues to be right on target with her growth. 19lbs 7oz (55%) and 281/2" (76%). And her brain must be getting big, her head is 45(75%).
Send happy tongue-tie clipping thoughts our way tomorrow around 9 am. THANKS!

Davis County Fair
Leah absolutely LOVED the fair. She just loves animals so much. They had a small petting zoo with baby animals which was great fun. But her favorite part was seeing the big cows, sheep, hogs and goats close up. We had a great time and plan to go back today! Thanks to Carrie and Kameron for joining us.

Stage Two: The Carpet Pull
Leah is still not crawling but has some mad carpet pulling skills! Thank God she can't go any further than the shag. It's the perfect baby barrier!

New Camera!!
Well, new to me anyway. My very kind brother Aaron is lending me his super awesome camera. It so great to have the picture actually take when you push the button! I really love this camera but have so much to learn about it. So many buttons, modes, different lenses. I may have to convince him to sell it to me! Exciting!

Got Milk?
Dave said he would have zero respect for me forever if I publish this post with it's current title. I will because I know how much he HATES it and all the piggy back marketing that came after it. I do too but could not resist the chance to make him want to pull his hair out crazy.
The answer is no, I do not. Well, I do have some, but definitely not enough!
It's been a sad couple of days. I had to give Leah formula for the first time last night. I cried. What a huge disappointment. It was her bedtime feeding, she drained me then cried and cried. I gave in and fixed a bottle. She drank it up and smiled. Then, to sleep without a fuss. Then I cried and cried.
I have been feeding her about every two hours for the last few days, drinking mothers milk tea, trying to rest as much as possible, and trying to eat as much as possible. No luck so far. I had to give another bottle again tonight before bed. Maybe by tomorrow things will be back to normal? Please send happy milk thoughts my way!

Baby Doll
During a family trip to the chiropractor yesterday Leah discovered how amazing dolls are(they have a playroom). So today, I took a trip to the toy store to get her first baby doll. SHE LOVES IT!! So crazy cute! Why are they all so freaky looking though? I may need to lock it up at night so I can sleep.
